18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20 (NASB)

Tim Williams grew up in Spartanburg as did his wife Ryan. They were away for years before coming back to the area and to Roebuck Baptist in 1995. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. Tim's assessment of his place in ministry is simple: "God has blessed us by allowing us to serve the people of this community and this wonderful church family. If you're looking for a Christ-centered, missions-minded fellowship, Roebuck Baptist could just possibly be the church where God wants you to invest your life."

Dr. Dave Satterwhite

   MINISTER OF MUSIC

David and his wife Sandy began their ministry at Roebuck Baptist Church in June of 1987. They moved to Roebuck from Tampa, FL where they were high school sweethearts and married in 1983. David's ministries at Roebuck Baptist Church consist of worship leader and director of all music activities as well as serving in other areas of the church. His passion for worship is that as worshipers the body of Christ would be confronted by God through His word and drawn by the Holy Spirit to know him in a personal way.

David has an Associate of Arts degree in vocal performance at Anderson University and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal performance and a Masters of Music degree in choral conducting from the University of South Florida. He completed his work on a Doctorate of Worship Studies at the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies in June of 2004. David's life verse: "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." I Corinthians 15:58

Minister of Music

23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth!
    Tell of his salvation from day to day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations,
    his marvelous works among all the peoples!
25 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
    and he is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
    but the Lord made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty are before him;
    strength and joy are in his place.

28 Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
    ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
29 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
    bring an offering and come before him!
Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;[
b]
30     tremble before him, all the earth;
    yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice,
    and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!” 1Chronicles 16:23-31 (ESV)
