The Women’s Enrichment Ministry of Roebuck Baptist Church
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
What an exciting time in history to be a woman of God! Each of us has been uniquely gifted by God and has a special place in the body of Christ. Our mission at Roebuck Baptist Church is to provide opportunities for personal spiritual growth, to build and strengthen relationships within the body, and to reach out to the community with the message and love of Christ.
Join us… There is a place just for you!

Opportunities for Spiritual Growth
“Joy” Bible Studies
Are you seeking an in-depth bible based study by godly women such as Beth Moore or Anne Graham Lotz? If so, join us either on Tuesday mornings (9:30 – 11:30 a.m.) or Wednesday evenings (6:15 – 7:30 p.m.) as we dig into God’s word together. This is an open class and childcare is provided for both sessions. These meet during school semesters.
If you prefer studying God’s word in a cozier, intimate setting, consider joining one of these in-home small groups. Days and/or evening groups will be forming, based on participants’ preferences – times will vary by group.
“Heart to Heart”
Have you ever desired to tap into the wisdom and guidance of a more spiritually mature woman? Or, have you ever wondered how God could use your life experiences to positively influence a younger woman? If so, this one-on-one mentoring ministry might be for you. Pairs will be matched based on common interest and needs.
“Women On Missions”
If you are between the ages of 18 and 98, you can get involved on a Women On Missions group. Together we are encouraged to pray for a give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, and to develop spiritually toward a mission’s lifestyle. We meet the second Monday each month at 6:00 p.m. Come and discover the joy of missions!
Do you like surprises? This is an anonymous way to do something special for another. Anyone can participate in this ministry – just draw a name and meet a need through a secret touch – a birthday remembrance or an encouraging note, etc. The “secret touch” is up to you.
“Ladies Night Out”
Don’t cook tonight! Join us for a time of fun and fellowship. These quarterly outings will give you a chance to build relationships with others and enjoy a night out.
These uplifting events are scheduled throughout the year to provide women with spiritual renewal, encouragement and fellowship.
Many opportunities exist to serve in various local ministries (i.e. The Children’s Shelter, Carolina Pregnancy Center, Mobile Meals, Hospital Ministry, Good News Club, etc.) If you would like to volunteer in one of these ministries or another local ministry, we can connect you with the organization that fits your area of interest.
